Refund and Cancellation Policy

This Refund Policy explains when and how we issue refunds for consulting sessions booked on mdsrmagesh.com.
1. Eligibility for refund
You are eligible for a refund in any of the following cases:
- Cancelled by us — If we cancel a session for any reason, you receive a full refund or a free reschedule at your choice.
- Technical failure on our side — If the session cannot happen because of a verifiable technical issue on our end, you receive a full refund or a free reschedule.
- Duplicate payment — If you were charged twice for the same booking, the duplicate amount is refunded automatically.
- Cancellation by you, 24+ hours before the session — Full refund less payment-gateway fees (typically 2–3%).
2. No refund situations
- Cancellation by you with less than twenty-four (24) hours' notice.
- You do not join the session, do not give prior notice, and do not respond to our reach-out within 24 hours afterwards (no-show).
- You join the session more than fifteen (15) minutes late without prior intimation.
- You disagree with the advice given during the session. Outcomes from advice are not guaranteed and are not refundable.
3. How to request a refund
- Write to mdsr.magesh@gmail.com with subject "Refund request — Booking #<your booking ID>".
- Include the booking ID, the date and time of the session, and the reason for the refund.

4. Processing time
- We acknowledge refund requests within one (1) business day.
- Approved refunds are initiated within three (3) business days through Razorpay.
- The amount typically appears in your account within five to seven (5–7) business days after we initiate, depending on your bank or card issuer.
5. Refund method
Refunds are credited only to the original payment instrument (card, UPI, net banking, wallet) used for the booking. We cannot redirect a refund to a different account.
6. Partial refunds
If we cancel a session that is part of a multi-session package, we refund the pro-rata amount for the unused sessions.
7. Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback through your bank without first contacting us, we may temporarily suspend your account while the chargeback is investigated. Please reach out to us first — we resolve almost every situation within one business day.
